Welcome to the Congressional Youth Leadership Council

Welcome to the Congressional Youth Leadership Council (CYLC)!

The Congressional Youth Leadership Council (CYLC) offers educational leadership conferences for an elite group of outstanding young people from across the country and around the world, whose nomination provides them with unmatched enrichment opportunities in a distinguished academic environment.
Our programs are designed to inspire outstanding youth to reach their full leadership potential while experiencing the nation and the world from a perspective unlike any other.

OBJECTIVES

1) To have a group of elite young leaders from the state of Johor to ensure a legacy and tradition of future who are creative, dinamic and innovative.

2) Would have role models amongst themselves whom they are able to look up to and connect with.

3) Ensuring that these chosen studens who are of excellence would have the opportunity to expand their skills, knowledge and experience thus able to not only build bridges and friendship locally but international with other students.

GOALS

o Students selected as part of JSL Congress are placed with high hopes that they would gain new skills and knowledge to face real life situations, problems and issues creativity and matured with a perspective.

o The early exposure through JSL ensures that they would develop leadership skills through activities and programs that are of quality and effective. This in turn will instill the future leaders of Malaysia that are of calibre.

o These chosen studens will be going through programmes using the cascade model training which will develop the spirit of spirit de corp, cooperation and togetherness enabling them to contribute at a local and global platform,.
