New Updates...

Wow!! What a long time since the last update... You guys must have been wondering what are we up to. Actually, we have been quite inactive since June, because there were some examinations the students have to sit for. First, there was the mid-year examination in June which lasted from 31st of May to 4th of June for the form 2 and 3 students and from 21st of June to 2nd of July for the form 4 students. Then came the gerak gempur for form 3 students, probably 3 weeks ago. After that, there was the PMR trial which started last week and finished today.

So, what else happened to us? Our chairman, Ridzuan, got the diamond oppurtunity of joining the REAL Johore Student Leaders Congress. Now, he is in Neuburg an der Donau, Germany for a leadership camp. He went there with another 9 members of the JSLC. Before going to Germany, they went to a preparation course in SMK Mohd. Khalid on 24th of June. There, they studied normally just like other form 4 students from morning until afternoon, had German language tutorial, and maybe had some fun (grrr... we are so jealous of him!!). Then, they flew to Germany on 31st of July. In Germany, they have many activties like kayaking, canoeing, cycling, climbing, etc. For more information, visit http://www.swimcamp.de . As for the other JSLC of SMK Skudai members, we have two new tasks. First, we have to perform a choral speaking for Pn Hajah Rahmah's, our principal, retirement on 26th of August. Iskandar was put in charge of composing the text. The good news, he and his teams did a great job on writing the text for the performance. The bad news, we haven't practised yet. Aaaahhhh!!! Today, it's already 11th of August. How can we prepare very well? Without Ridzuan, we're terribly hopeless. Then, we have to put our minds together to come up with an excellent performance!!!

The second task, we have to perform another choral speaking for the healthy week which is on 30th of August. Oh man, another headache!!! With have to work 10 times harder to prepare for both performance!! Daniel was put in charge of the text. He and his teams should write the text together. But what happened, Angel did a brilliant job - She composed the text ON HER OWN!!

Now, the hard stuff, THE PRACTICE!! We hope that we could prepare well for both of the performances. With masterminds such as Iskandar, maybe we don't really need Ridzuan's brilliancies, at least for now.
